Pilot Mountain mine is located in Nevada and gives very lovely stones. The rich chestnut and nutmeg matrix is a fabulous contrast to the rich blue green of this awesome turquoise. The simple setting by Oliver Smith, famous Navajo jeweler, adds the final touch to a beautiful turquoise. The pendant carries 19 carats of turquoise and measures not including the bale, 1 1/2 in. long by 13/16 in. wide.
