Copper Kachin-Mana Kachina
The Kachin Mana usually appears during the Powamu on
First Mesa. Her function is to bring the cold to the
Hopi. She is, in most instances, an alternate
for the Kocha Kachin Mana. She carries a Hopi hair
brush and with she usses people's hair as much as does
the winter wind. Ours measures 14 in. high by 9 in. wide
(from cape end to cape end) and 3 1/4 in. deep. She can
either be stood on a table or hung on a wall.
