Copper Squash Kachina

The Squash Kachina is a Chief Kachina for the Pumpkin clan. There are relatively few members of this clan left and consequently their stories are not very well known, particularly concerning their more important personages. Although the Squash Kachina's functions as a wuya are unknwon, he does appears as a runner on Frist Mesa. He measures 14 in. high by 10 1/2 wide by about 3 1/4 in. deep. He can either be stood on a table or hung on a wall.
