Tsitoto Flower Kachina
Tsitoto is an ancient kachina who appears on all three
mesas in many ceremonies. One of his functions seems to
be purication. In this role, he carries a small bunch of
yucca blades and strikes each individual he meets with a frm
blow. Our Tsitoto wears a necklace of turquoise with two
flowers on his shoulders and of course he carries a flower in
his hand. There are flowers on his kilt and the hem of his
skirt. He measures 19 1/2 in high by 9 in. wide.
