Jack Tom has a deep appreciation and respect for his ancient Navajo heritage and the symbols of his rich culture. Tom composes his craft by incorporating ancient and contemporary symbols, rock art, adorn his designs and creates a link between his rich heritage and the 20th century. Tom began his career as an artist in 1971 providing works for galleries and various jewelry distributors. In 1981 Tom embarked on his own enterprise and began to market his own jewelry,  “It was hard to sell my work at first, but after some time I became better known”

Blending 14k gold with sterling silver Tom creates jewelry which is distinctive and is difficult to recreate. Jack Tom, a Navajo, was born in Smoke Signal, Arizona. Tom of the Ashiihi or Salt clan lives in Dilkon, Arizona with his wife and family.
