Copper art and Kachina dolls by Dale Andersen
 Dale
Andersen is lucky
enough to work and live in Arizona. He has worked in and
mastered various art media, such as painting in oils, acrylics, as well as
sculpting in clay. His foremost interest is in metal art though.
Dale cuts his copper
and does all his own soldering. He fancies the Hopi Kachinas in his work, but
also, does horses, bows and arrows, and geckos along with Kokopelli and bears.
His vision makes him right at home with the Kachinas as he lovingly cuts them
out of sheet copper, solders where needed and then applies his patented patina
finish.
Dale’s work reflects an
evolution and a deep understanding of his subjects. He has galleries in
northern Arizona and Scottsdale.
