Turquoise Buffalo is a Sedona Arizona-based Native American art gallery that has been in business over 20 years. Our website is packed with more than 1,700 unique, one-of-a-kind pieces, many of which have been designed by our owner to do justice to the beautiful turquoise we buy.
We offer you a quality shopping experience with a knowledgeable staff here to assist you with whatever your concerns are.
We have turquoise from over 24 mines.
We carefully select each stone and decide the individual style of silverwork to best show that particular stone.
We only buy about 10% of the stones we look at. Each stone is analyzed for its quality and we determine if it is gem quality. Each stone is purchased after it is envisioned in a particular piece of jewelry.
We buy some rough gem rock and have it cut and polished by the very best lapidary artists in the country. Many of these stones are rejected because they do not meet the quality standards of the Turquoise Buffalo.
We never attempt to be the cheapest. We do strive to have the highest quality in town.
Each and every piece in the store is individually custom made or carefully selected for our customers so they can depend on obtaining quality when shopping in the Turquoise Buffalo.
Our guarantee to our customers is we will never try to be the cheapest. We always work toward having the highest quality available. When a customer buys here, they can be assured of quality.

Turquoise Buffalo Testimonials
"I recently purchased a set consisting of a pendant, earrings and a ring made out of Lavender Chalcedony and done by Native American artist D. Robert Smith from the Jemez Mountains in New Mexico. What drew me to his pieces was the color of the stone, and to my eye it looked like a scene. The workmanship is fabulous and his use of uncommon stones appealed to me. The price was within my budget, the service was outstanding and it arrived in a prompt manner. The Turquoise Buffalo is one of my favorite on line stores to shop at. I have been a customer for years." -Vicki Emm
"Having moved to Arizona from Chicago, I wished to purchase an authentic Indian piece of jewelry. I selected Oliver Smith’s Bisbee turquoise pendant and earrings. The color of the turquoise was what did me in, and the beautiful silverwork surrounding it was incredible. The price was more than I wanted to spend, however the quality was worth the little bit extra. I will shop at the Turquoise Buffalo again." -Nancy Lopez
"Last year I fell in love with a Hopi pot and purchased it at the Turquoise Buffalo Gallery in Sedona. I was influenced by the staff’s knowledge of how Hopi pottery is made and was pleased to find out that Agnes Nahsonhoya is related to a famous Hopi potter. The painting is spectacular and the quality of workmanship astounding. I am quite happy with my pot. I would like to begin a collection of Hopi pots." -Mr. J. Mandeville
"It was our first time in the Southwest and we fell completely in love with the Native American culture. My husband bought me the most beautiful Zuni pin pendant with earrings to match. What made these special was the autobiography of the artist that made them that was given to him when he made the purchase. From reading the autobiography and seeing her picture, I felt as if I knew her. I knew I had purchased a quality piece made by a Native American and I shall cherish it and the trip to Sedona for a long time to come." -Julie Watson
"We had stopped in the Turquoise Buffalo Gallery and found a copper kachina we really liked. The only problem was that it was slightly larger than the space where we wanted to put it. The sales representative informed us that the artist did custom work and we began the work of re-designing our kachina. The artist was wonderful and followed our directions perfectly making the beautiful Hoop Dancer kachina to our measurements. The work was completed reasonably fast and the delivery was without incident and came exactly when the store said it would. We love the kachina and the Turquoise Buffalo!" -John and Cindy Lawson
"We come to Sedona several times a year because we own a timeshare there. We thought we had been in every shop in town. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked through the doors of the Turquoise Buffalo Gallery in uptown. What a beautiful store filled with quality merchandise. We were fascinated with the Alabaster sculptures the store has to offer. We knew nothing about Alabasters but the staff was quite knowledgeable. We wanted to purchase an Alabaster but we live in Ohio and didn’t want something too Southwest for the décor of our home. The sales representative worked with us to find a nice sculpture. After going back and forth between two very nice pieces, we selected a small wolf head. It has a western flavor but isn’t too Southwest for our Ohio décor. It looks wonderful in the little niche we had to fill and it reminds us of our wonderful visit to the Turquoise Buffalo. We are happy to have found that store." - Ken and Sue Carrigan
